Welcome to the SPIRIT Homepage

The goal of this informal, interactive meeting is to bring faculty and students together with MIS professionals in the area to explore the latest technical and organizational developments related to information technology.

Key topics that will be addressed are data mining, electronic commerce,  business intelligence, security issues, knowledge management, organizational issues in IT. The meeting will include presentations by leading academic experts and  a panel session to focus on the future career opportunities in the IS profession.

Students and faculty will benefit from hearing about the latest research as well as industry issues needing further research. At the same time, industry participants will learn about the recent advances and the leading edge thinking about technology issues.
